I had several very disappointing experiences with Marin County Ford service in the past, so I switched to a different dealership. However, this month, I decided to try them again, partly because they now offer pick-up and delivery. This time, I was extremely pleased with the friendly interactions, ease of scheduling, clear and updated communications, accurate diagnosis, and prompt resolution of the problem. Yay!

I ultimately sold my 2025 Honda Accord Sport-L that I purchased brand new with virtually no mileage because I became exhausted dealing with issues that should never have existed on a brand-new vehicle.
I want to be very clear: I did not simply "give up." I made repeated attempts to have my concerns addressed and gave the dealership every opportunity to make things right.
What should have been an exciting new car ownership experience turned into ongoing frustration, repeated follow-ups, and stress over quality issues that no customer should be dealing with after purchasing a brand-new vehicle.
After everything, I made the decision to sell the car because I no longer wanted to continue dealing with the situation.
That decision was not made lightly.
Below is my original review documenting my experience.3.8(453 reviews)26 days agoWent in to purchase a vehicle, tried negotiating just like any regular customer does in any other dealership. My negotiation wasn't even crazy, i was quoted 32,790 on a car with minor damage, 2 owners, 1 key, and the 20k service hasn't been done (vehicle is about to hit 23k miles). i tried negotiating it for 32,000 and was hit with an insult. "it sounds like you're not the right customer for a mercedes." Okay BMW of San Rafael please explain to me who is the right customer for a mercedes? How does this customer look and dress to you? i would like to know because you're acting as if i tried negotiating 10k off the car when it was just 800$. The funny part is i was willing to do the whole 32,790 until the salesman opened up his mouth and said that. I also drove 100 miles from home for that car and walked right out the second he said that.
